Dido performs special gig to fans as she takes new album on a trip to a stately home

A prestigious stately home served as the perfect backdrop to songstress Dido’s recent performance to preview her new album, ‘Safe Trip Home’, which is set for release next month. The special playback for a select group of fans was held at Notley Abbey in Buckinghamshire, a 13th Century house on the banks of the river Thames.
GLD worked with Sony BMG to create the environment for the intimate gig, providing a contemporary and traditional fusion of furniture and decor in the Grade 1 listed stone venue. This created a comfortable and homely atmosphere for the event, complete with over 40 sofas and armchairs, rugs and cushions and candles and candelabras.
