GLD go to Glastonbury then Spa out at WOMAD and Powder up at Creamfields
August 2008

The setting was GLD’s back garden, the green fields of the mother of all festivals, Glastonbury Festival.
The job was to create the backstage environments for both the Pyramid and Other Stages.

Given two large tents and 3 days to build including panelling and furniture installation, plus the obligatory inclement weather, GLD created the backstage dressing rooms around a central coffee bar/green room behind the iconic stages, providing comfortable and mud-free surroundings for the likes of Kings of Leon, Leonard Cohen, Jay-Z, Neil Diamond and the Verve to hang out in whilst they were at Glastonbury. GLD also used their creative skills to design and install a special new spa area at WOMAD music festival held at Charlton Park. Later this month, we will make the pamper room at Creamfields complete with hair and nail stations and mirrors for ultimate luxury in the heart of the festival.
