It is an Open Golf season with GLD as furniture supplier

This year's prestigious Wales Open, staged at the Celtic Manor Resort near Newport was the start of GLD's involvement in world-class golf championships for the 2008 season.
The Celtic Manor Wales Open which ran from 29th May - 1st June is now one of the leading events on the European Tour and became the first professional golf tournament to be played across the new Twenty Ten course at Celtic Manor that has been designed and built to host the Ryder Cup in 2010. GLD oversaw the installation of the event furniture for 25 different areas including the VIP hospitality pavilions, media centre, tournament offices and tented village.
GLD also supplied the site and office furniture for the cabins for WG Search at the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale this year, the ninth time it has been played at the Merseyside course but the first time that GLD have worked on this high-profile sporting event.
