Prince parties like its 2007 with 21 date run at O2

Purple pop legend, Prince brought his ‘Planet Earth’ tour to London for an astounding 21 date residency at O2 from July to September. The concerts were his first in 10 years and his only European ones of the year. Prince played an ever changing set of his greatest hits and newer tracks to rave reviews as well as distribute a free copy of his new album to all concert goers.

GLD created the backstage area at London’s newest venue for the megastar providing furniture for 10 dressing rooms as well as the hospitality areas.
The tour involved a number of builds as the 21 date schedule crossed over several months and other events held at the East London venue. The production, including backstage and hospitality areas, had to be loaded in and out 8 times to accommodate the Rolling Stones, Elton John, UFC, RFU, Turbo Tennis and the MOBO’s.
