Concert for Diana
July 2007

This event took place on 1st July to commemorate and celebrate the life of the late Princess Diana and was hosted by her sons Princes William and Harry. Many of Diana's favourite acts performed at the concert including Sir Elton John, Duran Duran, Take That, Sir Tom Jones and the English National Ballet, as well as some of the Princes' favourites like Nelly Furtado, Kanye West, P Diddy, The Feeling and James Morrison.

GLD were responsible for the entire backstage environment for the event. This meant creating over 50 bespoke dressing rooms for artists, bands, dancers, orchestras and choirs, of which 30 were built at neighbouring Wembley Arena in order to cater for the vast number of acts and bands. We also provided furniture for the green rooms, production and catering areas.
