GLD provide the backstage furniture for performers and production for the Strictly Come Dancing Live UK tour. The shows are a spin-off of the popular BBC TV show, which see celebrities and their professional dance partners showing their best dance moves in front of judges and a live audience in arenas around the country.
The SCD live project also included the sourcing and subsequent laying of 900 square metres of professional dance floor at every venue on the UK tour, a feat GLD took in their stride despite it being a departure from their normal repetoire of the rental of event furniture. At this size, the Strictly dance floor is the largest portable dance floor in the UK.

Additionally, GLD delivered 500 gold banqueting chairs for the judges and audience seating for the 2009 series of the BBC TV show, as well as the red leather sofas for the performers' interview and waiting area.
