In 2006, GLD supplied site furniture for the UK leg of the Red Bull Air Race World Series, the extreme acrobatic competition, which returned to Longleat House in Wiltshire for the second time. The event saw the grounds of the stately home transformed into an airfest complete with control tower, temporary runway, aircraft hangars, airport and hospitality areas.

In 2007, the event was staged at London's Docklands. A vast site was taken over by the World touring production creating temporary structures to house planes, pilots, sponsors and 35,000 spectators. GLD provided the furniture requirements for the entire production site.
