GLD regularly provide wardrobe and furniture items to many of the designer catwalk shows across London during the Spring and Autumn outings of London Fashion Week.
Working for key production companies, GLD supplied furniture and wardrobe items for the backstage areas for an array of catwalk shows at London Fashion Week this autumn. We supplied to venues as diverse as the V&A, Royal Horticultural Halls, Claridges, St James, the Vinyl Factory and Westway Sports Centre for Britain's premier fashion designers across the week-long shows.
The fashion festivites opened with the launch of the appropriately starry Golden Age of Couture at the V&A. Stella McCartney made her LFW debut with Adidas at the Westway Sports Centre and Luella Bartley held her comeback show at Claridges. The Fashion for Relief event at the Natural History Museum saw Naomi Campbell host a special one-off charity catwalk show to raise funds for the Rotary's Flood & Disaster Appeal.
In 2006, LFW was no less sensational. When Armani bought his first London showcase to the capital as the finale to LFW, GLD supplied all the wardrobe items for the backstage at the event held at Earls Court's Brompton Hall. The scale of the event meant we provided over 80 make-up mirrors, 30 cheval mirrors and 120 dress rails amongst other items.
GLD also supply items to fashion shoots, fashion awards, charity fashion shows and other fashion related events.
