GLD supplied the furniture for both outings of this prestigious fashion event at the Royal Albert Hall.

In 2003, this world-class event attracted attendance from every top fashion designer on the planet and a number of stars from the movie and music worlds. Demanding a tight build schedule - we had 1 day to build and were cleared by 6am the next morning – GLD were responsible for the installation of 22 dressing rooms in the basement and gallery; 86 hair and make-up stations and in supplying 114 make-up mirrors.

In 2007, GLD took over 100 make-up mirrors, dress rails and wardrobe items and created the backstage setting for the return of Swarovski Fashion Rocks to the Royal Albert Hall. This year’s event held on 18th October was hosted by Uma Thurman and Samuel L Jackson and once again saw the world’s top fashion designers team up of with stars from film, TV and music to put on a sparkling event in aid of the Princes Trust.
As in 2003, GLD transformed the gallery area of the famous London venue to provide over 50 make-up and hair stations for the models, created 27 dressing rooms in the basement and backstage for the stellar line-up of musicians and presenters appearing on the night, as well as supply furniture and dressing for the designers’ green room, production and catering areas.
